Damon Barrett is a founder of the International Centre on Human Rights and Drug Policy, and a lecturer in at the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of Gothenburg. He has consulted for the Pompidou Group on the integration of human rights in drug policy in Europe, and is part of the core drafting team of the International Guidelines on Human Rights and Drug Policy www.humanrights-drugpolicy.org
