About

Florian is a PhD Candidate researching the injection of novel psychoactive substances at Waterford Institute of Technology where he lectures in the School of Nursing. He recently completed a small study investigating the efficacy, challenges and opportunities of a 3-month Electronic Nicotine Delivery System (ENDS)-based intervention in a homeless context. He is currently developing a global elearning platform on drug policy and harm reduction for young people who use drugs as a Project Manager with Youth RISE. As a member of the ERASMUS+ 'Substance Info' project, he is currently helping develop TripApp a mobile application which he will introduce in this talk. He is a graduate of the TWIST program and is a recipient of the Futurize bursary.
