Mounteney

Dr Jane Mounteney is currently working as Head of the Public Health Unit at the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction and has been at the Centre since 2010. She has been working in drug research, policy and practice since 1994, both at a national and European level. In her current position at the EMCDDA she has an overall responsibility for the areas of drug epidemiology, drug policy and practice. For many years she was lead writer on the European Drug Report and has authored numerous scientific publications. She has also an interest in the development of methodologies for earlier warning and identification of new drug trends and has been responsible for establishing a number of European and city level systems and projects in this field.
