About

Margriet van Laar (PhD) is head of the Drug Monitoring & Policy department at the Trimbos Institute (Netherlands) and the National Focal Point (NFP) of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). She has longstanding experience in monitoring and epidemiological research in the field of (illicit) drug use. She is principal investigator of the ALAMA nightlife study.
