Pascale Alarie-Vezina is a student in the Psychoeducation program of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, involved in research into cultural adaptation of programs for addiction treatment and prevention. Specifically, Pascale is currently assisting with the development and implementation of a controlled-drinking program culturally adapted to the Aboriginal Communities of Quebec. She has several years of experience working within the education services of the Inuit Communities in Northern Quebec and is currently working in the field of intervention with substance users and offenders.
