Closing the gaps: HIV and Hepatitis continuum of care with a focus on people who inject drugs

Aims: To present the data along the continuums of care for both hepatitis and HIV overall and for PWIDs to gain a better understanding of the situation and of the gaps that exist in the programmatic response to these infections in EU/EEA Member States.

Data will be presented from EU/EEA Member States for HIV and hepatitis C . This data will be considered in the broader context of other data relating to the epidemic context and key indicators on prevention and impact. Differences in the data between the infections and across countries will be considered to gain a better understanding of the situation in order to help identify, and explain, gaps in the programmatic responses to these infections.
