About

Dr. Matthijs Blankers holds a MSc in Psychology and a PhD from the faculty of Medicine (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands). In the past 12 years, he has been involved in the development, research and implementation of digital interventions and e­-health applications for addictive behaviours. He currently works for the Trimbos institute (Netherlands Institute of Mental Health and Addiction), and for Arkin Mental Health Care, one of the largest mental health care organisations in the Netherlands. He (co-)supervises nine PhD students and as a guest researcher, he is affiliated to the Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam.
