About

The thematic track developed by the Society for the Study of Addiction (SSA) will focus on opioid- related deaths, mainly in Europe and Australia. It will include discussion of data from countries where opioid- related deaths have been increasing, as well as emerging trends in terms of age and gender distribution, the contribution of polydrug use, and the proportion of deaths attributable to pharmaceutical opioid drugs.
