European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR)

The European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) will advance the science base of environmental, universal, selective and indicated prevention aimed at improving human health and well-being and addressing health inequalities.

Cornerstones of this advancement are: cross-disciplinary networks of scientists, policy makers and practitioners, methodology development, promotion of higher education and career development in prevention and implementation research.

EUSPR hosts an annual meeting and conference since 2009 with approx. 200 delegates encompassing researchers, practitioners and policymakers. The Early Careers Forum has built a vast dynamic in the Society and is actively part of the board and the activities. The 2022 Conference is in Tallin, 28-30 September.

Starting 2022, The Journal of Prevention (JOP) is the official Journal of EUSPR. Read the journal’s aims, scope, and guidelines. A call for papers is open for a Fall 2022 Special Issue on Climate Change and Population Health.
