About

WHO targets elimination of viral hepatitis within 2030. The Norwegian government targets HCV elimination within 2023. In Norway, 80–90% of HCV infections occur among people who inject drugs (PWID). The aims of this symposium are to present the progress towards elimination of HCV in Norway and to present different models of care to reach PWID with testing and treatment to enhance the chances of reaching the elimination goals.
