Anna Powell is a PhD candidate at Liverpool John Moores University. Her first PhD study found hazardous drinkers reported poorer cognitive function, which mediated the relationship between alcohol use and alcohol-related problems. She is now assessing function via vibrotactile perception in hazardous drinkers, and systematically reviewing function recovery from AUD.
