About

Anna Tarjan holds a MA in Sociology and a PhD in Health Sciences. Currently she works as a scientific analyst on health at EMCDDA, in the EMCDDA4GE project. Previously she worked at the Hungarian National Focal Point for 14 years as a scientific analyst on problem drug use, drug-related infectious diseases, harm reduction, and drug use and related interventions in prisons. In the meantime she also worked in international projects such as the HA-REACT and SO-PREP. She volunteered for several years at a needle and syringe programme in Budapest.
