About

Dr Emily Stockings (BPsycHons, PhD) is an NHMRC Early Career Research Fellow and Program Lead of 'Smoking, Vaping and Mental Health' at the Matilda Centre, University of Sydney.

Her primary focus is the prevention and treatment of mental and substance use disorders in young people. She also works on a range of projects with national and international collaborators, including randomised controlled trials of smoking cessation interventions, cost-effectiveness analyses, longitudinal cohort studies, and estimations of the prevalence and burden of mental and substance use disorders.

Emily is an expert consultant to the Department of Health, Therapeutic Goods Administration and The World Health Organization. She has specialist expertise in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and is a Cochrane Collaboration author. She has editorial roles with Addiction, The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health, BMC Public Health, and Mental Health & Prevention.
