About

Dr. Francina Fonseca, degree in Medicine and Surgery. Specialized in Psychiatry. PhD in Medicine and Life Sciences. Working in Addiction since 2001, in Hospital del Mar. Her current position is Head of the Addiction Section at Parc de Salut Mar, in Barcelona. She is also an assistant professor at Medicine and Life Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. As a researcher, she has developed her research in biomarkers associated with different substances: pharmacogenomics of methadone response and biomarkers in dual depression
