Kipkoech is currently a PhD student specialising in infectious disease mathematical modelling. His research interest focuses on the use of epidemiological methods, and statistical/mathematical modelling approaches to understand transmission dynamics and control of infectious diseases; particularly, the evaluation of the impact of programme interventions on HIV and viral Hepatitis epidemics.
