Marta Torrens Mèlich, MD, PhD, Specialist in Psychiatry, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vic and Central of Catalunya and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, ​​and at Director of Addiction Department at the Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Addictions of the Parc de Salut Mar in Barcelona, ​​Coordinator of the Spanish Research Network on Addictions (RICORS-RIAPAD). Elected member of the Scientific Committee of the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the Informal Science Network of UNODCWHO. Also, a member of the executive of the Dual Pathology and Addiction Psychiatry sections of the WPA. She develops her professional activity in the area of ​​additions, in clinical, teaching, research and management.
