About
Achab Sophia is a passionate and deeply engaged multidimensional health professional, with strategic leadership profile. She has been able in 15 years to build a unique Fit of clinical, management, training, research, and public health expertise in the field of addictive behaviours (gambling, gaming, Internet) at Swiss, European and Global levels.
She is an MD psychiatrist specialized in addiction psychiatry and certified in Global Health, Quality and Health institutions Strategic Management.
She holds a PhD in Life sciences with a research line on “Population and clinical perspectives of Behavioral addictions” , having published the last decade >140 scientific works including 3 thesis and 13 book chapters.
She is senior lecturer and WHOCC Director at Faculty of Medicine of Geneva University, and teaches in several countries and disciplines from socio- educational to medical and public health.
