Substance use, suicide and self-harm: epidemiology and prevention

In this session we will explore relationships between substance use, self-harm and suicide, learning from both longitudinal studies and from recent epidemiological data. We will also learn about monitoring of self-harm via a national registry, and measures to reduce intentional overdose using common drugs.
