About

Dr McCarthy’s academic experience is in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods’ methodologies; scoping and narrative reviews; longitudinal research; and working with under-researched populations. Elizabeth is currently leading on two reviews: alcohol addiction and offenders respectively, and co-researching the experiences of caregivers of people with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) in Ireland.
